These are Musto’s Ocean Racer boots in UK size 11/ US 12/EU 45.5. They’re brand new, as you can see by the tread. They’ve never been worn and still have the label on. I got them from my previous employer but never wore them as I already had a pair. The box was thrown out because it was too big to store but they’ve been stored with my other sailing kit since then and are in the same condition as when I first got them.
SMALL CAVEAT! I work in Gosport so I can leave them in the Clipper Training Office with your name on and you can collect them then. I don’t want to have to post them because, as I said, I don’t have the box.  Musto Ocean Ranger gore tex boots size 10.5 UK.

The tippy top o the line ocean racing drysuit. Worn across the Southern Ocean and Northern Pacific in the Clipper Race. Musto’s newest design. In perfect condition. Water tested and zero leaks of pin holes. Freshly washed with Nikwax. Seals treated with 303. Seals were not cut down and are factory opening size. No damage. Virtually new. XL-reg. $3000 retail price. Asking $1800 or best offer. For reference, I’m 5’10”/177cm and 200lbs/90kg. It fit very well, but you shouldn’t be any shorter than me. A few inches taller would be ideal. I had room for all the layers underneath. Custom made super knee pads made life so much better. If you’re doing a cold leg on the upcoming Clipper race, this is some of the best money you’ll spend. Additionally, this waist zip design is far superior to the over shoulder zip and worth the extra money over that model. The jacket and overalls are ocean-quality, made from breathable material with a lining. They are ideal for ocean sailing. They are size 3 XL and very comfortable to wear. The hood is integrated into the jacket and has a drawcord for a comfortable fit around the face. The high collar also protects the wearer.
I've used these garments for sailing in the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay and have always found them warm, waterproof and, thanks to the breathable fabric, they don't make me sweat. GORE-TEX waterproof integrity was unaffected & reliable. No tear or puncture & sealed seams remain intact. Normal surface wear & stains. Discounted low price due to cosmetic appearance. Gauss sleeping bag in excellent condition. Comes with a bag - but the handles are slightly falling off! Removable inner fleece layer, and fleece lined outer layer - both waterproof.
Extremely warm piece of kit and never once got wet on the inside. People who used other sleeping bags did complain of getting a bit chilly on the colder legs and had to sleep in layers - but not with the Gauss house!
Fibre-pile Insulation:
Polyester fibre-pile pile. It is warm to the touch, it is equally warm when wet, and as the fibres do not absorb water, for insulating material it dries very quickly. It also resists mould - which is an issue with the inevitable build up of condensation. YKK full-length burstable zips All zips on our bags are YKK coil for their strength and reliability. The main zips are YKK No10 coil with non-lock zippers. Poly-cotton: We use polycotton for the pillowcase in the original Ocean Sleepwear sleeping bag. It is comfortable, and can be quickly washed and dried, stopping the build up of salt from wet hair. |
