Good condition - latex wrist and neck seals unadjusted. Located in Hampshire, UK (same county as Portsmouth). Includes original stick of wax for the DYNAT zip fastener. Medium (173-178cm). Wrists 14cm, neck 30cm (both can be custom cut for larger wrist & neck).
Musto HPX gore tex ocean dry suit (large). Near new condition; worn only 5 times during Leg 6 (Northern Pacific) in 2022. Located in continental Europe, but can be shipped anywhere abroad.
Valuable piece of kit I was very happy to have as a RTWer on the 23/24 race, kept me dry and warm on the coldest nights.
It’s used but in fine operating condition - I’d keep and use it again, but don’t expect to be in those conditions again. The tippy top o the line ocean racing drysuit. Worn across the Southern Ocean and Northern Pacific in the Clipper Race. Musto’s newest design. In perfect condition. Water tested and zero leaks of pin holes. Freshly washed with Nikwax. Seals treated with 303. Seals were not cut down and are factory opening size. No damage. Virtually new. XL-reg. $3000 retail price. Asking $1800 or best offer. For reference, I’m 5’10”/177cm and 200lbs/90kg. It fit very well, but you shouldn’t be any shorter than me. A few inches taller would be ideal. I had room for all the layers underneath. Custom made super knee pads made life so much better. If you’re doing a cold leg on the upcoming Clipper race, this is some of the best money you’ll spend. Additionally, this waist zip design is far superior to the over shoulder zip and worth the extra money over that model. Willing to ship anywhere in the world as long as you make the arrangements and just send me a shipping label.

Owned by RTWer but only used on the coldest and wettest days in Leg 3 and a handful of times on Leg 6 (it was relatively warm! Too warm for a drysuit. Hopefully you’ll be as lucky). I have submerged myself in the Boogie Hole of Newcastle Australia dressed in it. You really can float in it! People in bikinis and shorts last maybe 10-20mins in the cold water. I only got out after 1 hour because I had to find a bathroom. Diligent and motivated to avoid bad smells. Suit was kept hanging if wet. Dried if weather permitted. Inside was largely dry except for condensation (wear wool and waterproof socks to stay skin dry). Drysuit was rinsed well with water and hung to air dry if used after a Leg. Made sure to ensure zipper was rinsed well of salt before waxing. Otherwise, it was tucked away in a dry bag, within another giant dry bag. Bags also for sale! Rubber neck did start a microtear under the chin which I trimmed on Leg 6. Sent it to Hammond Drysuit and technician said I did a good job but recommended to trim to neck circumference which they did for me. Rubber cuffs are fine. Reflective band on left wrist is missing and on left shoulder is peeling.. Name printed with reflective writing on back. Based in the Hampshire but able to lug to Boston on occasions. Pick up is free.
New style, Bought directly from Musto for £2300, selling at a reduced price as it has had several wears. Seals watertight and have not been cut so you can fit it to your size. Foot grips 100%. Comes with a spare neck seal I got from a musto representative in Australia, should you want an entirely new neck seal., or change to neoprene for comfort as many do. Small cloth used to hook on the back had broken, could be easily stitched but I preferred to hook it using the mid point hook instead.
