We have put together a detailed, multi-page pro forma PDF Pre-Departure and Engine Checklist for skippers planning their next passage). It covers the pre-voyage preparation process and serves as useful aide memoir for new or nervous skippers, guiding them through the process.

I still find it useful now as it enables me to confidently delegate checks to my crew, knowing this checklist will mean they don't miss anything critical.

The plan template was put together by me after drawing together over 25 years as a professional skipper. After purchase, you'll be automatically emailed the PDF file. You can also fill them in from your phone or laptop, as they are dynamic forms.

We have also included this option on additional text fields if you wish to use the entire form electronically, but you can also print off the empty template and fill it in by hand, if preferred.
