The Ocean Sleepwear Sleeping Bag is one of just two, known to us, that are manufactured for specialist marine applications - i.e. extreme offshore sailing and cold, damp conditions. The second manufacturer, Gauss Marine, does not currently make bags. I know, because I own the brand.

They're double fleece-lined with a heavy-duty external Gore-Tex outer layer - perfect for the Clipper 68, or Ocean Race boats that have their crew bunks in the sail locker. They will comfortably accommodate someone up to 6ft 2 inches tall. The bag packs down to 60cm x 50cm x 50cm.

The hire charge includes a £100 returnable deposit. This is returnable upon the safe return of the hired item in accordance with our terms and conditions of hire. When you've finished with the bag, simply return it to us. We recommend using insured shipping with Parcelforce and send it to our return address. The return address is provided in our email confirming receipt of your hire request.

You can also hire a bag for one or more training weeks, from £69 per training week. Save money when booking hire for back-to-back training weeks. We can deliver to your selected address in MAINLAND UK or direct to the Clipper Training Office.
